CDC Group plc, a UK government–owned development finance institution, holds a 10.68% stake in I&M Holdings, the parent company of I&M Bank Ltd. Additionally, the bank benefits from a technical support agreement with the International Finance Corporation, which assists with staff development, product innovation, and risk management. I&M Bank also secures medium-term foreign currency credit facilities from European development finance partners, including Prop arco, DEG, and FMO.
Its international correspondent banking network includes major global institutions such as Bank One Ltd, Citibank NA, Commerzbank AG, Deutsche Bank AG, ICICI Limited Mumbai, Mash req Bank PLC, Standard Bank of South Africa, and Standard Chartered Bank NY. I&M Bank’s international operations span Bank One Limited (Mauritius), I&M Bank Tanzania Limited, and I&M Bank Rwanda, where it delivers specialized services including commercial banking, asset finance, mobile and internet banking, investment management, diaspora banking, card solutions (credit, debit, and prepaid), and wealth management.
