CDC Group plc, a UK government-owned development finance institution, holds a 10.68% stake in I&M Holdings, the parent company of I&M Bank Ltd. Additionally, the bank benefits from a technical support agreement with the International Finance Corporation, which aids in areas such as staff training, product development, and risk management. I&M Bank also secures medium-term foreign currency credit facilities from European development finance institutions, including Prop arco, DEG, and FMO.
The bank’s international correspondent banking network comprises leading global financial institutions such as Bank One Ltd, Citibank N.A., Commerzbank AG, Deutsche Bank AG, ICICI Limited Mumbai, Mash req Bank PLC, Standard Bank of South Africa, and Standard Chartered Bank New York. Its overseas operations extend to Bank One Limited (Mauritius), I&M Bank Tanzania Limited, and I&M Bank Rwanda, where it provides specialized banking solutions.
