Plan International was established more than seven decades ago with the purpose of advancing and safeguarding children’s rights globally.
Founded in 1937 by British journalist John Langdon-Davies and humanitarian worker Eric Buggering, the organization initially sought to deliver food, shelter, and educational opportunities to children whose lives were upended by the Spanish Civil War.
