The African Advanced Level Telecommunications Institute (AFRAID) is an intergovernmental organization based in Nairobi, Kenya, dedicated to advancing the ICT sector across Africa. Its primary mission is to enhance human resource capabilities by delivering high-quality training, consultancy, and advisory services to professionals at both management and technical levels within the Information and Communication Technology industry.
AFRAID maintains strategic partnerships with numerous regional and international organizations. Notably, its collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has earned AFRAID the designation of a Center of Excellence node under the ITU’s Center of Excellence initiative.
