Responsible for directing and supervising the daily operations of the Recycling staff, including the sorting of mixed waste, plastics, glass, materials designated for pig feed, and the baling process.

Plans and oversees attendance management while ensuring staff scheduling aligns with operational needs.

Develop and enforce stringent quality control protocols to verify that sorted materials adhere to both company-specific criteria and applicable regulatory requirements.

Maintain strict compliance with all safety protocols and established standard operating procedures to mitigate risks and ensure a secure working environment.

Oversee and enhance sorting operations to achieve optimal efficiency while minimizing operational interruptions.

Coordinate the scheduling and allocation of forklifts to facilitate efficient recycling operations.

Accurately document and update records pertaining to sorted materials, equipment utilization, and staff performance.

Ensure strict adherence to health and safety protocols to uphold a secure workplace environment.

Compile and deliver weekly reports detailing performance metrics and other key OKR (Objectives and Key Results) indicators.

Submit petty cash requisitions and ensure prompt follow-up on approvals and disbursements.

Oversee inventory levels of materials and collaborate with the logistics team to ensure prompt removal and transportation.

Perform routine assessments and evaluations of equipment to ensure operational integrity and compliance with established standards.

Prepare and submit periodic reports detailing plant operations, covering key performance indicators such as productivity, efficiency, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (ONE) metrics.

Develop and deploy process control systems to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with established standards.

Collaborate closely with the engineering team to design and implement new equipment solutions.

We utilize data to inform strategic decision-making and drive process improvements through comprehensive analysis and reporting.

Conduct thorough market research to evaluate the potential of both current and new machinery options.

Develop innovative strategies to repurpose underutilized material streams both internally within the organization and externally within the market.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics, along with at least five years of professional experience in a related discipline. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++, as well as strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines. Familiarity with software development methodologies, version control systems, and cloud platforms is highly preferred.

A relevant academic qualification, such as a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a comparable discipline, is required.

With a minimum of three to five years of demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing or processing environment, candidates should possess a proven track record of overseeing teams, optimizing workflows, and ensuring operational efficiency.
