Job Description
The ideal candidate will assist with routine accounting functions, prepare accurate financial statements, conduct reconciliations, ensure adherence to tax regulations, and oversee cash flow management activities.
Oversee a range of critical duties encompassing the planning, execution, and evaluation of projects to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and driving measurable performance improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and process optimization while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Monitor key performance indicators to assess progress, mitigate risks, and make data-driven decisions to support long-term growth and sustainability. Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and strategic updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.
The position involves reconciling bank statements and compiling weekly and monthly financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial standards.
Ensure the meticulous maintenance of precise accounting records and ledgers.
Develop detailed aging analyses for creditors and perform reconciliations of supplier statements to ensure accuracy and prompt payment processing.
Collaborate on the execution of process improvements aimed at boosting operational efficiency.
Conduct thorough reconciliations to ensure alignment between ERP systems and subsidiary systems, verifying accuracy and consistency across all data points.
Oversee daily financial operations, with a focus on cash handling and asset administration.
Provide support throughout both internal and external audit processes.
Compile and submit monthly tax returns as well as statutory remittances.
Conduct a thorough examination of accounting records to ensure their accuracy and completeness.
Accurately update and oversee the company’s asset inventories and stock records to ensure they remain current and precise at all times.
Responsibilities include managing accounts receivable operations such as generating invoices, posting customer payments, and distributing account statements.
Offer assistance to other accounting functions as needed, ensuring seamless collaboration and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline is required.
A CPA designation at the IV level or higher is considered a significant advantage.
Minimum of three years of professional accounting experience is required.
Proficiency in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is required.
Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel is required, with SAP knowledge considered a valuable asset.
Proven ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions through critical thinking and methodical evaluation.
Maintains meticulous attention to detail and ensures precision in all tasks.
Demonstrates exceptional ability to plan, prioritize, and manage both tasks and time efficiently.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, along with polished interpersonal acumen, are essential.
Demonstrated capacity to collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a cohesive work environment.
