Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties and obligations, ensuring adherence to established protocols and organizational standards. Manage and prioritize tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster alignment and achieve collective objectives. Serve as a key contributor to strategic initiatives, driving innovation and continuous improvement within the role. Assume responsibility for maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, mitigating risks through proactive measures.

Provide leadership and operational support by advising security and conservation personnel, maintaining accurate records, and safeguarding confidential information. Facilitate seamless communication with the JOCK, KWS, and NRT, organize departmental meetings and training sessions, and oversee staff attendance to ensure adherence to established organizational policies.

We are responsible for overseeing procurement and logistics operations, which include processing requisitions, managing purchases, coordinating supply deliveries, maintaining vehicles, and verifying compliance with all necessary licenses.

Financial Management & Budgeting: You will prepare and oversee budgets for General Security and Armed Security, diligently track expenditures, verify adherence to contractual obligations, and coordinate closely with Finance, M&E, and Grants teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Responsibilities include the preparation and submission of grant proposals, engagement in fundraising campaigns, and ensuring adherence to donor compliance standards.

Compile and standardize monitoring and evaluation data, review submissions from various departments, and prepare comprehensive incident and operational reports.

Coordinate with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and key stakeholders to uphold Kenyan legal requirements and donor policy guidelines. Represent LEA in Joint Operations Coordination Committee (JOCK) meetings to ensure alignment with regulatory standards and organizational objectives.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned at any time as needed.

We require a candidate with a minimum of three years of experience in a comparable role, preferably holding a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration, finance, or a related discipline. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data interpretation, and exceptional written and verbal communication abilities are essential. The ideal applicant will demonstrate a track record of delivering accurate reports, collaborating effectively across teams, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with industry-standard software, including Excel and project management tools, is mandatory. Additionally, the position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and the capacity to work independently while adhering to strict deadlines.

The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications:

A minimum qualification of a Diploma in Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, Finance, Procurement & Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline is required.

A bachelor’s degree is highly beneficial.

We are seeking a candidate with three to five years of experience in administrative and financial coordination, ideally within conservation or security sectors.

In settings such as NGOs or donor-funded organizations,

Skilled in Information Technology, with expertise in data management, reporting systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and security software applications.

Proficiency in the legal frameworks governing wildlife conservation in Kenya is essential.

Exhibits unwavering integrity, adheres to stringent ethical principles, and demonstrates exceptional judgment in all professional endeavors.

Proven ability to organize tasks efficiently and make well-informed decisions in dynamic environments.

Must demonstrate the capacity for autonomous work and self-directed management of tasks without constant supervision.
