About the Role

This role is a combination video editor and videographer who will produce professional quality videos for One Acre Fund’s training programs, marketing, fundraising, and brand campaigns all of which will focus on driving impact for farmers, especially youth and women. This work will combine storytelling, social behavior change, and marketing skillsets to support One Acre Fund to share compelling impact stories. Your focus will be to capture farmer stories that demonstrate the impact of One Acre Fund’s work both on an individual and generational level.

Overseeing a range of critical operational tasks, the role involves managing daily activities, ensuring adherence to company policies, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and accuracy. Key responsibilities include coordinating with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless communication, analyzing performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and quality. Additionally, the position requires developing and enforcing compliance protocols, conducting regular audits to mitigate risks, and providing leadership through clear directives and mentorship. Crafting storyboards and scripts in alignment with a brief post-production constitutes a key responsibility of the position. Professionally subtitling videos requires fluency in seven or more languages to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translations.

From time to time, the role involves overseeing freelance personnel as well as facilitating video production crews selected by donors for filming sessions.
