Positioned to fuel the expansion of insurance business both within and beyond the ABC Bank group’s distribution channels, this role will concentrate on acquiring new clients and enhancing cross-selling initiatives to drive incremental revenue growth.

The incumbent will manage daily insurance operations within the designated Region, focusing on new business acquisition and the cross-selling of insurance products. Additionally, responsibilities include claims administration and the maintenance of accurate documentation.

Consistently tracking renewal deadlines is essential to maintaining client relationships and safeguarding revenue streams that could be at risk of loss due to lapses.

Cross-promoting a comprehensive range of the Group’s financial solutions—including deposit accounts, foreign exchange services, account initiation processes, trade finance offerings, and securities trading platforms—forms a key responsibility of this role.

Foster strong collaborative partnerships with multiple departments across the organization, engaging directly with Branch Managers, Relationship Managers, and Credit Analysts to identify insurance opportunities and cultivate leads through their existing customer networks.

Promptly address customer inquiries in accordance with established policies and procedures to ensure resolution.

Spearhead insurance product training initiatives across regional branches, ensuring comprehensive awareness among both staff and customers regarding insurance product offerings.

Ensure adherence to all applicable regulatory mandates and established internal protocols pertinent to insurance sales activities.

Ensure that all collateral and assets securing financiers’ interests are fully and appropriately insured, with their interests explicitly recorded in the documentation.

Actively manage and minimize the company’s debt levels while ensuring strict adherence to the established credit policy, which mandates a 40:30:30 ratio.

Minimum qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with at least three years of professional experience in a related role. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, alongside proficiency in industry-specific software and tools. Familiarity with project management methodologies and regulatory compliance standards is highly desirable. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.

A bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Marketing, or a business-related discipline is required for this position.

Holders of the Certificate of Proficiency must demonstrate a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in their field.
