The QA Associate is responsible for maintaining the quality and dependability of KNOPS IT applications, with a key emphasis on financial management systems and solutions compliant with IPSA standards. This role is achieved through the development and execution of thorough testing strategies, thereby supporting the successful completion of projects and enhancing the efficiency of organizational operations. Collaboration with development teams, finance business stakeholders, and solution designers is essential to detect and address defects, ensure the accuracy of financial data, verify compliance with requirements, refine testing methodologies, and foster a strong culture of quality within the IT Group.

Functions / Key Results Expected

We are seeking a meticulous Software Tester to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products through comprehensive evaluation and validation processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manual and automated testing methodologies, with proficiency in identifying defects, documenting test cases, and executing test plans. Experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar tools is essential, alongside a solid understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies. Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining test scripts, analyzing test results, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues promptly. Develop and implement comprehensive test cases in alignment with specified requirements and user stories, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining exceptional quality standards.

Conduct comprehensive end-user testing in alignment with the specified requirement specifications and user stories.

Convey the planned test schedule and any potential testing-related risks to the QA Team Lead promptly and clearly.

Leverage artificial intelligence technologies to develop test plans, scenarios, and supporting documentation.

During the test phase, conduct thorough assessments of period-end closing procedures, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, to ensure the integrity of financial statements and management reports.

Ensure the completeness and integrity of audit trails within financial systems, verifying adherence to IPSA requirements and internal financial control standards.

Examine multi-currency transaction processing functionality, specifically focusing on the accurate application of exchange rates, adherence to rounding rules, and seamless currency conversion across financial modules.

Conduct financial data migration testing to validate opening balances, historical transaction data, and cutover accuracy.

Verify financial system configurations align with access controls and segregation of duties (Sod) to ensure compliance with financial governance and audit standards.
