Principal Accountabilities

We craft and sustain a dynamic learning and development strategy, frameworks, and curricula—encompassing leadership, mandatory management training, personal effectiveness, and other critical organizational capability domains—that are both adaptable and scalable, thereby enhancing overall organizational capability.

The development, execution, and integration of a Global Leadership and Management Curriculum are designed to enhance SCI Leadership and Management behaviors.

Works alongside People Partners, the Head of Talent, and other key stakeholders to evaluate learning requirements, develop thorough learning strategies, design targeted interventions, and oversee the successful implementation of high-impact development programs.

Create an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere by embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into every aspect of training content and delivery methods.

Assess the efficacy of learning interventions by consistently gathering feedback, tracking progress, and compiling reports, thereby fostering ongoing enhancement and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

Champion the advancement of cultural competence throughout the organization by fostering an appreciation, comprehension, and admiration for varied cultural viewpoints across all educational programs.

Develop strategic alliances to secure funding and maximize the impact of learning resources aligned with Save the Children’s mission.

Oversee the Learning and Development budget and play a key role in determining global funding allocations for L’D initiatives.

Coaches and cultivates the skills and capabilities of the Learning and Leadership Team as well as the wider learning and development community.
