Job Summary
Our client, an investment firm specializing in collaborative financial ventures through real estate, publicly traded securities, and private equity investments for its members, is in search of a seasoned and strategic Financial Controller. The ideal candidate will oversee the company’s financial functions, uphold regulatory compliance, produce precise financial statements, and deliver strategic financial analysis to inform high-level Board decisions.
Key Responsibilities
Compile and deliver precise financial reports alongside management accounts to the Board of Directors for review and decision-making purposes.
Responsibilities include directing budgeting processes, developing financial forecasts, executing strategic financial planning initiatives, and managing cash flow operations to ensure fiscal stability and alignment with organizational objectives.
Guarantee adherence to all statutory, regulatory, and financial reporting obligations to maintain organizational integrity and legal conformity.
Oversee financial control systems, risk management frameworks, and internal audit operations to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
Evaluate the performance of investment portfolios across real estate, marketable securities, and private equity sectors while delivering comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
Coordinate external audits and serve as the primary point of contact for auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance and facilitate smooth audit processes.
Prepare and submit tax returns and statutory deductions accurately and promptly.
Direct the finance team’s activities to uphold optimal financial performance and operational efficiency.
Deliver high-level financial guidance to facilitate business expansion and capital allocation decisions.
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an equivalent discipline is required.
A CPA(K) credential or another comparable professional accounting certification is required.
IC PAK membership in good standing is an essential requirement for this position.
Requires a minimum of five to ten years of hands-on experience in finance and accounting roles.
A background in real estate investments, marketable securities, or private equity is strongly preferred.
Possesses a thorough understanding of financial reporting standards, taxation principles, and investment accounting practices.
Analytical prowess, leadership acumen, and strong communication abilities are essential for this role.
Demonstrates a capacity to operate autonomously while maintaining strict confidentiality regarding sensitive financial data with unwavering ethical standards.
