Your responsibilities will include retrieving production schedules or shipping orders and conveying materials, products, or equipment to and from specified locations within the facility.
Responsibilities include operating a forklift to efficiently load and unload goods from trucks, containers, and various types of vehicles.
Transfer palletized or crate-packaged merchandise across warehouse and storage zones efficiently and in accordance with established protocols.
Organize and position merchandise within designated storage areas in strict adherence to inventory management protocols and established warehouse guidelines.
Before transportation, verify that all loads are securely fastened to meet safety standards.
Gather empty pallets and organize them in the assigned storage locations.
Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts each day, ensuring all essential components—such as lubricants, tires, air conditioning, and battery or fuel levels—are thoroughly monitored and properly maintained.
Promptly report any equipment defects, damages, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Ensure the workspace is consistently clean, well-organized, and compliant with established safety protocols and company guidelines.
Support warehouse operations by facilitating stock transfers, conducting inventory counts, and performing any additional assigned tasks as needed.
Execute additional responsibilities as delegated by senior management or executive leadership.
Qualifications & Requirements
A minimum qualification of a GCSE Certificate or its equivalent is required.
A valid certification or license for operating a forklift is required.
A minimum of one to two years of practical experience operating a forklift within warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics settings is required.
Proficient in warehouse operations and inventory management protocols, with a strong grasp of established procedures.
Capable of operating forklifts with a strong emphasis on safety and operational efficiency.
Maintains meticulous attention to detail and demonstrates unwavering dedication to workplace safety standards.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions.
