Reporting directly to the Head of Human Resources, the ideal candidate will be tasked with ensuring the efficient execution of human resource plans, overseeing data management initiatives, and maintaining smooth operations within the designated Business Units.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Facilitate the successful execution of HR policies, plans, and procedures to ensure organizational alignment and compliance.

Assist in developing forecasts and strategic plans for the talent pipeline, ensuring alignment with the organization’s functional and business objectives.

Contribute to the execution of talent recruitment initiatives to achieve optimal workforce capabilities.

Direct oversight of designated projects aligned with the annual HR operational plan will be required, alongside active engagement in both functional and cross-functional initiatives.

Offer expert Human Resource guidance to department heads, managers, and supervisors within the designated Business Units, covering key areas such as talent management, employee development, performance management, employee relations, and change management.

Provide support for labor initiatives by upholding adherence to Collective Bargaining Agreements, as well as the hospital’s established policies and procedures.

Compile and analyze regular statistical data on workforce needs, employee turnover rates, leave patterns, and absences to maintain accurate records and support informed decision-making.

Ensure leave plans are established and strictly followed in collaboration with Heads of Departments.

Oversee the development and maintenance of an efficient and organized HR document filing system, which encompasses both staff files and data management.

Prepare and submit a monthly probationary report, ensuring timely submission to the supervisor at least one month prior to the conclusion of the probationary period.

Facilitate payroll administration tasks to ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation for employees.

Ensure timely updates by monitoring contract expiry dates and provide the supervisor with advance notice at least one month prior to expiration.

Maintain a comprehensive record of all currently employed staff members while managing the separation process for individuals whose contracts are due for non-renewal or termination.

Assist in welcoming and integrating new employees by facilitating their induction and orientation sessions, ensuring they gain a thorough understanding of key human resource policies, including the HR manual and the code of conduct.

Verify that all employees possess current and appropriate professional licenses and that their related documentation remains valid and up to date, thereby ensuring adherence to established standards and regulatory requirements.

The requirements

Seeking a candidate with a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in a comparable role is required. Familiarity with industry-specific tools, software, or methodologies is essential. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team setting are necessary. Prior experience in project management or leading initiatives is highly valued.

A recognized institution must award a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or another business-related discipline.

Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) qualification or a Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management awarded by a reputable institution is required.

Holding a membership with the Institute of Human Resources Management signifies a commitment to professional excellence in the field of human resources.

A minimum of four years’ experience as an HR generalist, ideally within a comparable institution, is required.
