Job Description
Prepare and issue updated statements of account for debtors.
Consistently distribute statements of accounts to all debtors on a regular basis.
Prepare the business’s accounts receivable report by organizing and verifying the completeness and accuracy of outstanding invoices and customer balances.
Draft precise and promptly issued client quotations and invoices to ensure financial documentation is completed accurately and without delay.
Consistently provide debtors with current updates on their account status through detailed reports.
Monitor and track overdue client payments to ensure timely collections and financial accountability.
Thoroughly examine accounting documents to verify the precision of the information presented.
Support the development and enforcement of internal financial control frameworks to ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
Consistently compile and present the financial status of debtor accounts to management, ensuring timely updates and accuracy in reporting.
Compile and maintain organized records of all accounting documents pertinent to your role and department.
The incumbent will facilitate monthly operations by examining and balancing accounts, recording journal entries, and verifying adherence to established accounting principles.
Collaborate effectively with various departments, including operations and procurement, to guarantee timely delivery of shipments.
Developing and setting standard costs for products is a core responsibility of this role. This process involves analyzing historical data, evaluating production processes, and identifying cost-saving opportunities to establish accurate and achievable cost benchmarks. The incumbent will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to ensure alignment with budgetary goals and operational efficiency. Additionally, the position requires continuous review and adjustment of cost standards to reflect market conditions, technological advancements, and changes in production methods.
Develop and refine business projections by continuously monitoring sales performance, tracking revenue streams, and analyzing expense trends.
All banking transactions must be executed punctually, with all corresponding documents filed in a timely manner.
