Strath more School is in search of a dedicated and skilled educator to fill the role of Mathematics and Science & Technology teacher within its Lower Primary department. The ideal applicant will be responsible for instructing students in Grades 1 through 3, focusing primarily on Mathematics while also delivering lessons in Science and Technology.

We seek a candidate with deep subject expertise, a passionate commitment to engaging with young learners, and the skill to design and deliver dynamic, developmentally appropriate lessons.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties, including but not limited to strategic planning, project management, and cross-functional collaboration, to ensure seamless operations and high-performance outcomes. Collaborate with stakeholders to identify objectives, allocate resources efficiently, and monitor progress to meet established deadlines and quality standards. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance productivity, mitigate risks, and drive continuous improvement across the organization. Serve as a key liaison between departments, fostering clear communication, resolving conflicts, and aligning efforts toward shared goals. Additionally, analyze performance metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present actionable insights to senior leadership to support data-driven decision-making.

Develop and implement engaging, standards-compliant lessons in Mathematics and Science & Technology tailored for students in Grades 1 through 3, ensuring a high standard of educational delivery.

Design and create engaging learning experiences that are fully aligned with the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). Develop and execute structured activities that foster skill mastery and knowledge acquisition in accordance with CBC standards.

Track learner advancement and evaluate performance, delivering prompt feedback to foster development.

Accurately document learner attendance, performance, and developmental progress to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.

Foster a welcoming, diverse, and engaging classroom atmosphere that supports all students’ growth and learning.

Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to enhance student wellbeing and academic success.

Engage in various school-related functions, including extracurricular events, faculty gatherings, and ongoing training sessions to enhance professional skills and contribute to the school community.
