Alone Initiative is a pan-African, women-led nonprofit dedicated to advancing safe, accessible, inclusive, and sustainable public transportation across Africa, with a special emphasis on women and other underserved communities. Through knowledge generation, inclusive dialogues, and targeted support for women in transportation, the organization empowers key stakeholders to foster a socially equitable mass transit ecosystem on the continent. Additionally, Alone builds capacity to strengthen and sustain these efforts.
