Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational success. Oversee the administration and upkeep of all maintenance records, job cards, and equipment documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with established protocols.
Develop and oversee schedules for preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
Diagnose malfunctions, facilitate repair processes, and maintain equipment operational readiness.
Oversee the utilization of equipment, assess operational performance, and ensure adherence to safety regulations.
Coordinate all necessary permits, approvals, and statutory inspections to ensure full regulatory compliance, adhering to established timelines and procedural standards.
Compile weekly reports detailing asset utilization metrics and the progress of ongoing work activities.
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s degree or diploma in mechanical engineering with a specialization in plant design, or an equivalent qualification in a related discipline, is required.
The candidate must successfully pass the Government Trade Test in Engineering to qualify for this position.
Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
With a minimum of five to six years of hands-on experience in the repair and maintenance of heavy machinery, candidates should demonstrate a proven track record in this specialized field.
