As the responsible steward of tank farm vehicles, your role involves guaranteeing proper operation and upkeep in strict compliance with HESSE standards.
Ensure weekly skimming of interceptors and maintain accurate records, exercising strict control by securely managing all interceptor keys to guarantee they remain locked and sealed continuously. Permit opening exclusively for draining excess water and conducting routine cleaning.
You will oversee the contractor personnel at the tank farm and conduct weekly inspections of their personal protective equipment (PPE) to verify its suitability for use, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Ensure stock management targets are met by overseeing precise daily tank dipping and completing reconciliation by 8 a.m. Keep stock variances within the established limits and investigate, then explain any variances outside tolerance ranges by 11 a.m. each day.
Oversee and record every aviation quality inspection and the draining of water from fuel tanks.
Accurate tank sampling must be performed, rigorous quality inspections need to be carried out during tanker discharge, and all samples must be promptly forwarded to the laboratory for analysis.
Verify that all terminal VHF radios are fully functional and that inventories are consistently and accurately maintained.
Maintain impeccable cleanliness and organization throughout the tank farm and pump areas through consistent daily walkthroughs.

Ensure the secure management of tanks, band wall valves, and interceptor keys and locks to maintain the integrity of the controls’ assurance process.
Requisition and maintain secure storage for seals designated for tank farm operations, issue these seals as required, and meticulously track all seal dispenses. Verify that every tank and pipeline valve, band wall, and interceptor is properly and securely sealed, ensuring accurate documentation in the tank farm seals register.
Prior to the pump over process, verify product quality—specifically daily conductivity for Jet A1—by obtaining the product quality certificate from KPRL or the lab. Additionally, arrange for the received product to undergo testing at the MEAT Lab to confirm compliance with required standards.
Fortnightly, drain water from storage tanks and maintain detailed records of the process.
Review the annual terminal maintenance plan for Tank Farm equipment in collaboration with the maintenance supervisor, ensuring its execution according to the established schedule—including monthly High-Level Alarm (HLA) testing—and maintain accurate documentation throughout the process.
Maintain a detailed log of equipment breakdowns in the tank farm and coordinate with the maintenance supervisor to ensure timely resolution, thereby reducing downtime.
