Responsible for leading and coordinating the daily operations of the Recycling team, encompassing tasks such as mixed waste sorting, plastic sorting, glass sorting, pig food sorting, and baling.

Responsible for coordinating and overseeing attendance tracking and staff scheduling.

To uphold quality standards, develop and execute control measures ensuring sorted materials comply with both company policies and regulatory requirements.

Ensure strict compliance with established safety protocols and standard operating procedures at all times.

Evaluate and enhance sorting operations to achieve peak performance while reducing downtime to the lowest possible levels.

Responsible for managing the scheduling and allocation of forklifts to facilitate efficient recycling operations.

Accurately document sorted materials, equipment utilization, and staff performance metrics to ensure comprehensive record-keeping.

Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations to foster a secure and compliant workplace environment for all personnel.

Compile and distribute weekly performance reports alongside other key OKR (Objectives and Key Results) metrics for review and analysis.

Submit petty cash requests and ensure timely follow-up on approvals and payments to maintain accurate financial records and efficient reimbursement processes.

Oversee inventory levels of materials while collaborating with the logistics team to ensure prompt removal and transportation.

Perform routine inspections and assessments of equipment to ensure operational integrity and compliance with established standards.

Craft regular reports detailing plant operations, focusing on productivity, efficiency, and ONE metrics, and submit them as required.

Design and deploy process control systems to ensure operational efficiency and adherence to established standards. Develop and maintain control strategies, configure instrumentation, and integrate automation solutions to optimize performance. Monitor system parameters, troubleshoot anomalies, and implement corrective measures to sustain reliability and compliance with industry regulations.

Collaborate closely with the engineering team to design and implement new equipment solutions.

Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize operational processes through comprehensive analysis and reporting.

Conduct comprehensive market research to assess opportunities involving both current and new machinery.

Develop innovative strategies for repurposing and recycling previously underutilized material streams across both company operations and external market applications.

Minimum Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience is required. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential. Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are necessary for collaboration with cross-functional teams. Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, with a proven track record of delivering results. Familiarity with project management methodologies is advantageous.

A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related discipline is required.

With a minimum of three to five years of hands-on leadership in a manufacturing or processing environment, you bring proven experience in overseeing teams and operations.
