Resposibilities
GVRC is seeking to enlist the services of a skilled lead facilitator/consultant to oversee the implementation of County Conventions for Women in Leadership focused on Electoral Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Preparedness in four designated counties: Homey Bay, Baring, Nairobi, and Vilify.
The consultant will collaborate with GVRC and designated county representatives to facilitate participant engagement, design and enhance session materials and agendas, and lead four one-day county conventions. Additionally, they will moderate interactive discussions on women’s leadership, governance, the risks of electoral gender-based violence, prevention and response strategies, referral pathways, and safety planning. The role also includes producing concise county session reports and compiling a comprehensive final report.
The ideal candidate will exhibit extensive expertise in governance, women’s political participation, gender-based violence, electoral violence prevention, community mobilization, training facilitation, and report writing. This position focuses exclusively on supporting mobilization efforts, developing technical content, conducting facilitation and training sessions, moderating county-level dialogues, and producing reports.
Interested candidates are required to submit a concise technical proposal that demonstrates their comprehension of the assignment, outlines their proposed methodology and session approach, includes evidence of prior relevant work, and provides an updated CV or profile. Additionally, applicants should include a sample report or previous facilitation output, a detailed work plan for covering all four counties, and a financial proposal specifying professional fees for the entire assignment.
