The Gender Violence Recovery Centre (GVRC) stands as Kenya’s leading organization in addressing Gender-Based Violence (GBV), operating as a non-profit, non-partisan charitable trust under the Nairobi Women’s Hospital (NWH). Dedicated to restoring dignity and hope to survivors and their families, GVRC provides comprehensive, no-cost medical care and psychosocial support to individuals who have endured any form of violence, including sexual, physical, psychological, or emotional abuse.
Recognized as a national hub of expertise in GBV prevention and intervention, GVRC’s headquarters is situated at Malik Heights along Gong’ Road in Nairobi County. The organization has expanded its reach with additional branches in Nairobi (Adams and Hurling ham), Kannada (Tangela and Ogata Rongai), Nakuru (Hyrax, Nakuru CBD, and Natasha), Menu, and Mombasa.
