Resposibilities
GVRC is looking to hire a skilled lead facilitator/consultant to facilitate the implementation of County Conventions for Women in Leadership focused on Electoral Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Preparedness across four counties: Homey Bay, Baring, Nairobi, and Vilify.
The consultant will collaborate with the GVRC and designated county focal persons to facilitate participant mobilization. They will be responsible for designing and refining session content and agendas, delivering four one-day county conventions, and leading interactive discussions on women’s leadership, governance, electoral gender-based violence (GBV) risks, prevention strategies, response protocols, referral pathways, and safety planning. Additionally, the consultant will compile concise county session reports and produce a comprehensive final report summarizing all deliverables.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in governance, women’s political participation, gender-based violence, electoral violence prevention, community mobilization, training facilitation, and report writing. Responsibilities will focus exclusively on mobilization support, development of technical content, facilitation and training delivery, moderation of county-level dialogues, and report compilation.
Interested candidates are required to submit a concise technical proposal that demonstrates a clear understanding of the assignment, including the proposed methodology and session approach, as well as documentation of relevant prior experience. Applicants should also provide an updated curriculum vitae or profile, a sample report or past facilitation output, a detailed work plan outlining the approach for all four counties, and a financial proposal that specifies professional fees for the entire assignment.
