An exceptional opportunity now exists within our Kenya Crop Protection Commercial Function for a highly skilled professional with both technical and commercial expertise to assume a pivotal position in executing strategic key account management for our Large Scale customer segment while driving business growth. This role encompasses the following key responsibilities:

Foster and oversee Tangent’s key customer relationships by driving long-term value creation and cultivating strategic partnerships.

The role involves cultivating and preserving relationships with current customers while actively identifying and capitalizing on new business prospects within the expansive customer segment.

Develop and implement sales initiatives in alignment with the Commercial Organization’s strategic goals and established objectives to meet and exceed predetermined business targets.

Oversee designated key accounts to ensure alignment with organizational goals and client expectations. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with major clients, identifying opportunities for growth and retention. Monitor account performance, addressing any issues promptly to mitigate risks and enhance satisfaction. Lead cross-functional teams in delivering tailored solutions that meet client needs while driving revenue and profitability. Analyze market trends and client feedback to refine service offerings and strengthen competitive positioning.

To deliver commercial objectives successfully, the role requires meeting and exceeding sales goals consistently, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share through strategic initiatives. Key responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, and analyzing market trends to optimize performance. Achieve and surpass the mutually agreed-upon and formally documented sales targets for the designated territory.

Craft and implement tailored business strategies for each customer, setting measurable objectives for volume, revenue, and profitability.

Craft mutually beneficial agreements by strategically aligning commercial terms, pricing structures, and promotional expenditures to maximize overall value.

Oversee and regulate credit exposure and payment terms to ensure full compliance with company policy and established guidelines.

Oversee distributor accounts to achieve annual closure with zero Bad & Doubtful Debt Provision (BDDP).

Accurately forecast demand and oversee inventory planning in collaboration with key accounts.
