THE ROLE

Reporting to the Regional Partner Director and maintaining a dotted line to the AFR New Business Sales Director, this role is responsible for identifying and onboarding new sales partners—including introducers, resellers, and distributors—across Africa to accelerate channel sales within Teens’ multi-product portfolio. Key responsibilities include building and nurturing a robust sales pipeline, as well as preparing and participating in monthly pipeline reviews with both Teens leadership and partner teams. You will also oversee ongoing engagement with existing sales partners, ensuring their continued focus on pipeline development while equipping them with the necessary tools and knowledge to effectively prospect for Teens within their respective markets. Additionally, you will serve as the primary liaison between partners and Teens’ solutions groups to facilitate seamless collaboration and support.

RESPONSIBILITES

You will be responsible for identifying potential companies to develop Sales Partnership opportunities, including introducers, resellers, and distributors. Additionally, you will define and assign strategic targets, target accounts, markets, and products, while also exploring and establishing effective routes to market.

You will be tasked with coordinating sales enablement sessions for partners, ensuring they are structured and delivered effectively to maximize engagement and knowledge transfer.

As the Sales Manager, you will spearhead efforts to drive sales growth, thereby expanding Teens’ presence in targeted markets.

You will establish structured processes to guide the partner’s team in identifying and expanding our joint business opportunities. This includes implementing a regular meeting schedule, monitoring pipeline progress, assisting the partner in client engagement, and delivering technical and sales training programs.

You will provide support to partners by collaborating on forecasting initiatives, developing sales strategies, and overseeing RFP and pre-sales activities.

You will develop and sustain a strong sales pipeline while ensuring precise tracking of quarterly forecasts and revenue projections.

You will maintain quarterly performance targets while ensuring visibility into strategic and long-term revenue prospects.

You’ll craft and implement a tailored go-to-market strategy for your assigned territory, leveraging data-driven customer research and market intelligence to drive results.

A solid understanding of banking applications and operational workflows is essential, encompassing key business processes such as retail banking, corporate banking, and payment solutions, along with core banking systems and industry-standard solutions in the MEE market.
