The monthly remuneration ranges from KSS. 34,420 to Kshs. 46,120, subject to increments based on performance and tenure.

This position serves as the initial and developmental role within the organization. An incumbent at this level will perform duties under the direct mentorship and oversight of a more experienced officer.
Headquarters for the county is situated in the central administrative hub of the jurisdiction, serving as the primary operational center for county government functions, facilitating coordination among various departments, and providing essential services to residents and stakeholders.
At this level, the role encompasses a broad range of administrative and operational responsibilities, including the execution of general administrative tasks, the enforcement of county regulations, and the safeguarding of government property, assets, facilities, and inventory. Additionally, the position involves coordinating infrastructure and facility maintenance, managing transport operations, and overseeing office accommodation planning and coordination. The role also requires the development and updating of office equipment and furniture, the facilitation of meetings, conferences, and special events, as well as the supervision of building and furniture maintenance.
Field Administration involves coordinating and supervising field operations to ensure seamless execution of projects. This role requires overseeing field staff, managing resources, and maintaining adherence to company policies and regulatory standards. Responsibilities include scheduling, performance monitoring, reporting, and resolving logistical challenges to optimize productivity. The position demands strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure while ensuring safety and efficiency in field activities.
The officer will operate under the direction and oversight of a senior officer, with duties and responsibilities including the development of stakeholder networks and partnerships, addressing public inquiries and challenges, tracking and assessing community initiatives, coordinating local resource mobilization efforts, encouraging community involvement in developmental undertakings, ensuring occupational health and safety compliance, fostering ethical standards and good governance principles, compiling and analyzing data related to developmental activities, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to facilitate public participation forums.
Seeking a highly skilled professional to fill this role, candidates must possess a minimum of five years of direct experience in a related field, along with a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. Strong proficiency in project management software and advanced Excel skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards is also required, along with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate leadership capabilities and the capacity to mentor junior team members while maintaining a results-driven approach.

A recognized institution must award a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development, or any related Social Science discipline.
A diploma or certification in computer applications is required.
