This role serves as the foundational level upon entering and developing within this professional group. An individual in this position will operate under the mentorship and oversight of an experienced senior officer.

County Headquarters:

This role encompasses a broad spectrum of administrative and operational responsibilities, including the execution of general administrative tasks, enforcement of county regulations, and safeguarding government property, assets, facilities, and inventory. The position also involves managing infrastructure maintenance, transport systems, and office accommodation planning, as well as overseeing the procurement, development, and upgrades of office equipment and furniture. Additionally, the role includes coordinating meetings, conferences, and special events, as well as supervising the upkeep of buildings and furniture.

Field Administration:

The officer will report to and operate under the direction of a senior officer. This role encompasses establishing and maintaining key partnerships and connections with relevant stakeholders, addressing public inquiries and concerns, tracking and assessing community initiatives, and coordinating the mobilization of resources at the local level. Additionally, the officer will encourage community involvement in development projects, ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards, uphold ethical standards and principles of good governance, review and consolidate data on developmental activities, and coordinate with stakeholders to organize public participation forums.

Requirements:

An officer must fulfill the following requirements to be appointed to this grade:

Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:- Public Administration, Business Administration/Management, Community Development or any other Social Science from a recognized institution;

A diploma in computer applications is required.
