Job Summary

The Food & Beverage Manager will oversee all food and beverage operations while ensuring an outstanding guest experience. This position involves managing daily kitchen and restaurant workflows, as well as spearheading hotel event sales and planning. The ideal candidate will expertly forecast, strategize, coordinate, lead, monitor, and assess all F&B functions to maintain efficiency, uphold quality standards, and maximize profitability.

Conducts a range of duties and fulfills key responsibilities to ensure operational efficiency and team effectiveness. Performs tasks essential to maintaining workflow, collaborating with stakeholders, and achieving organizational objectives. Addresses challenges proactively, adheres to established protocols, and delivers measurable results in alignment with company standards. Contributes to departmental goals by executing assigned functions with precision and professionalism while fostering a productive work environment.

Responsibilities and essential job functions encompass, but are not limited to, the following:

Oversee all food and beverage operations along with daily activities, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Maintain consistently high standards of service for both internal and external customers.

Craft exceptional and memorable culinary experiences for guests, both in the restaurant and during the diverse events hosted at the hotel.

To drive profitability, implement stringent cost control measures while fostering customer satisfaction and employee engagement to boost sales and revenue.

Accountable for developing, organizing, and executing staff training initiatives across the department.

Ensure strict adherence to food safety standards, oversee innovative menu development, manage the procurement of supplies, and implement ongoing enhancements to operations.

Assess customer requirements and address all inquiries raised throughout the service delivery process with prompt, proactive solutions.

Sought-after Skills and Qualifications encompass strong analytical capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and proficiency in relevant software applications. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a minimum of three years of direct experience in a comparable role, along with a proven track record of delivering measurable results. Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience. Familiarity with industry-specific tools and methodologies is highly desirable. Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and meet tight deadlines is essential.

A minimum of three years of demonstrated expertise in food and beverage management at a supervisory level or above, ideally within a three-star hotel or higher establishment, is required. Additionally, a diploma or degree in Hotel Management or a related discipline is necessary.

Accomplished leadership with a proven track record in team management and strategic delegation. Exceptional capability to prioritize diverse responsibilities while consistently achieving financial objectives.

Demonstrates exceptional customer service capabilities coupled with advanced problem-solving expertise.

Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, coupled with strong interpersonal aptitude, are essential.

Demonstrates a strong enthusiasm for food and beverage while maintaining current awareness of industry trends and developments.

Proficiency in beverages provides a valuable edge in this role.
