Assist in formulating, interpreting, and disseminating HR policies in accordance with Kenyan Labour Laws, regulatory obligations, and the Bank’s established values and governance frameworks.

Serve as a panel member during disciplinary hearings, upholding due process, procedural fairness, and meticulous documentation in compliance with established internal policies and relevant labor laws.

Maintain accurate and confidential disciplinary records by effectively managing the ER tracker, ensuring the information remains readily accessible for audits and decision-making processes.
Assist in the regular assessment and revision of the HR Manual to maintain consistent adherence to employment laws, regulatory standards, and emerging trends within the banking industry.

The ideal candidate must possess a relevant advanced degree, such as a Master’s or PhD, in a field pertinent to the position, along with a demonstrated track record of research, publications, or professional experience that aligns with the role’s demands.
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline is required.
Professional Qualifications and Membership to Professional Bodies: Candidates must hold relevant professional certifications and active memberships in recognized industry associations. Additionally, a strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals or industry-specific publications is highly desirable.

A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience is essential for consideration in this role.
3–4 years of experience as an HR generalist, specializing in employee relations, performance management, and wellness initiatives.

Proven expertise in managing disciplinary actions and liaising effectively with employee representatives and line managers is essential.
Proven track record in spearheading or facilitating employee engagement, recognition, and wellness programs.
