Responsibilities include configuring, monitoring, and maintaining the Local Area Network to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role requires expertise in network infrastructure management, proactive issue detection, and routine maintenance to support seamless connectivity and operational efficiency.

The selection of IT service providers and the management of associated contracts are essential responsibilities, requiring thorough evaluation of vendors to ensure alignment with organizational needs and strategic objectives. Additionally, this role entails negotiating contract terms, monitoring performance against agreed-upon service levels, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while optimizing cost efficiency and mitigating risk. Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple vendor relationships are critical to maintaining seamless IT operations and supporting business continuity.

Responsible for sourcing and acquiring information and communication technology (ICT) equipment.

Assist senior leadership in the execution of online tendering procedures.

Provides technical assistance for audio and video teleconferencing systems, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration through reliable connectivity and troubleshooting to optimize user experience.

REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable amount of hands-on technical experience is required.

ER proficiency in deployment, as well as expertise in support and usage, are essential for this role.

A background in CCNA is preferred, while prior experience with GCSE or equivalent qualifications is mandatory.

With a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in IT support roles, you will bring a proven track record of troubleshooting technical issues and delivering effective solutions.

A strong command of technical management principles, expertise in data analysis, and a deep understanding of both hardware and software systems are required.

Demonstrates a high level of proficiency in data management and governance frameworks.

Proficient in agile methodologies for project management, including Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid frameworks, with a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams through iterative development cycles. Capable of adapting to evolving project requirements while maintaining clear communication, prioritizing tasks, and delivering incremental value. Experience with agile tools—such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps—is preferred, along with a proven track record of fostering collaboration and continuous improvement in fast-paced environments.

Experienced in deploying, setting up, and overseeing both wired and wireless local area networks (LAN’s) as well as firewall systems.
