Maintain a current client database that accurately reflects membership lists and operational guidelines.
Collaborate with admission, registration, and billing teams to effectively convey and enforce client operational guidelines across all service points.
Ensure that updates regarding suspended accounts and revised operational guidelines are effectively conveyed to the admissions, registration, and billing teams.
Review insurance coverage limits for both patients and company-funded cases, and initiate requests for extensions when necessary. If a patient’s bill exceeds the permitted threshold, promptly seek an interim payment from the relevant corporate entity.
Maintain continuous allocation of receipts as they are received to ensure immediate processing and tracking.
Diligently oversee patient billing processes and provide guidance to patients or their next of kin regarding financial matters.
Responsibilities include coordinating with the billing department to address invoices that have been returned, particularly those impacting credit control processes.
Monthly statements are prepared and dispatched to clients on a consistent basis, ensuring timely financial communication and transparency.
Guarantee timely collection of hospital funds by consistently meeting prescribed monthly collection benchmarks.
Ensure all company-incurred expenses are accompanied by receipts and supporting documentation to substantiate payment.
Monthly meetings will be scheduled with corporate clients to reconcile accounts and provide progress updates to the Credit Manager – Corporate.
Ensure prompt resolution of client inquiries while organizing correspondence into a structured filing system, incorporating a bring-forward mechanism to facilitate timely follow-ups.
Evaluate debt collection performance and contribute input toward establishing updated targets.
Prepare and submit daily collection reports, along with a monthly analysis of outstanding items, to the Credit Manager-Corporate, ensuring timely completion within a 120-day timeframe.
Deliver strategic insights to the Credit Manager concerning corporate clients’ perspectives on Hospital services.
Engage in quality enhancement projects across the department and submit reports as needed.
Candidates must meet the following essential criteria to be considered for the role. Applicants should possess a minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in a similar capacity. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is necessary, though advanced qualifications may be advantageous. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills are imperative, along with proficiency in industry-standard software. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines is essential.
