Position Summary
PA SGR is currently recruiting a Senior Communications Officer to oversee corporate communications, public relations, digital engagement, and the visibility of the organization’s initiatives. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, this position will contribute to program implementation, knowledge management, and resource mobilization through strategic communication efforts.
Oversee and execute essential tasks to ensure operational efficiency, including managing daily workflows, coordinating team efforts, and maintaining high standards of performance. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to align objectives and streamline processes. Monitor progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance productivity. Provide guidance and support to team members to foster a collaborative and results-driven environment. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards. Contribute to strategic planning, reporting, and decision-making processes to drive organizational growth.
Spearhead the formulation and execution of PA SGR’s Communications Strategy.
Oversee the development and implementation of corporate communications strategies, ensuring consistent branding and fostering positive public relations initiatives.
Responsible for the strategic management and operational oversight of the organization’s website, digital platforms, and social media channels, ensuring consistent branding, user engagement, and alignment with overall marketing objectives.
Oversee the development and execution of publications, multimedia content, and documentation to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
Enhance relationships with media outlets and key stakeholders to foster mutual understanding and collaboration.
Assist with fundraising initiatives and enhance program communication requirements.

A master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Media Studies, or a closely related discipline is required.
Minimum eight years’ experience in a comparable senior communications position is required.

Proven expertise in utilizing digital platforms, fostering media engagement, and executing strategic communication initiatives.
Fluency in English is essential, while strong French language skills are considered a valuable asset.
