JOB PURPOSE

This role involves supporting the strategic planning and daily operations to ensure the Business Development Function (encompassing General Business and Medical sectors) for broker and tender operations operates effectively and efficiently. Additionally, the position is tasked with expanding assigned existing broker accounts and ensuring the quality management of tender documents.

Candidates must possess a combination of relevant education, technical expertise, and practical experience to be considered for this position. The ideal applicant will have demonstrated proficiency in the required fields through prior roles, academic study, or specialized training. Essential requirements include a minimum of [X] years of hands-on experience in [specific area], along with a comprehensive understanding of [relevant industry standards, tools, or methodologies]. Familiarity with [specific software, regulations, or systems] is also mandatory. Seeking a candidate with a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least three years of professional experience in a comparable role. A bachelor’s degree in commerce, public relations, or a related field within the social sciences is required for this position.

Fellow or Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance (ACID) or the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (AII), or alternatively, Chartered Marketer qualification.

A minimum of four years of managerial experience is required for this role.

Knowledge

Professionals should possess extensive expertise in both General and Medical insurance domains, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of various policies, coverage options, and industry regulations.

Business growth initiatives, risk assessment, claims management, strategic planning, resource optimization, and production methodologies represent key focus areas for this role.
