Key duties associated with this position encompass the following:
Deliver high-quality, practical, and inquiry-driven Computer Studies and Physical Education lessons in strict adherence to the Kenya curriculum standards.
Foster productive, courteous, and professional connections with students, their families, and colleagues.
Create instructional materials and collaborate with the Learning Design Team to evaluate and revise lessons as needed or requested.

Ensure students achieve proficiency in the designated content areas and academic standards, holding yourself responsible for their academic growth and success.

As a Teacher on Duty and/or Boarding Teacher on Duty, you will facilitate school-wide initiatives designed to address and improve student behavior while ensuring a safe and structured environment. Your role will involve actively supporting and contributing to these programs, helping to implement effective behavioral interventions across the school community.
Responsible for promptly recording students’ academic data and effectively communicating their progress to National Project families and other relevant stakeholders as needed.
The position involves facilitating clubs, societies, and other essential co-curricular activities within the school to foster well-rounded student development.
Act as a homeroom teacher when assigned to this role.
ABOUT YOU
Required qualifications and skills include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field, along with at least three years of hands-on experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ is essential, as is expertise in database management and cloud computing platforms. Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment are also necessary. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control systems like Git is preferred.
Obtaining a TSC certification alongside a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a specialization in Computer Studies or Physical Education, is required.
Minimum of three years of full-time teaching experience is required.
