Position Overview

The Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring all farm operations adhere to applicable local regulations, corporate policies, and international certification requirements, such as GLOBAL. A.P, META, LEAF Marque, and Rainforest Alliance. This position collaborates extensively with the HR Department, Health & Safety Supervisor, and every field and production team to uphold compliance standards, sustain audit preparedness, and foster a workplace culture rooted in safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, team leadership, and operational execution. Foster collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and drive performance efficiency. Oversee project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to meet key milestones. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance productivity and accountability. Analyze data to identify trends, assess risks, and recommend data-driven solutions to optimize outcomes. Serve as a liaison between senior management and frontline teams to facilitate transparent communication and alignment. Mentor and coach team members to cultivate talent, enhance skill sets, and promote professional growth. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company standards, and ethical guidelines to mitigate legal and operational risks.

Ensures strict adherence to regulatory requirements and certification standards across all operational activities. Responsible for creating, evaluating, and ensuring the ongoing adherence to policies, procedures, and standard operating protocols related to compliance requirements.

Ensure all employees are fully informed about and consistently follow established company compliance protocols and industry best practices.

Partner with HR and department heads to uphold organizational policies, address disciplinary matters, and resolve employee grievances in accordance with regulatory standards.

Ensuring comprehensive audit preparedness involves meticulous financial record-keeping, adherence to regulatory standards, and proactive identification of potential risks. This role demands a strong background in accounting principles, internal controls, and compliance frameworks, along with proficiency in financial reporting and data analysis. Ensures adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies through meticulous monitoring, assessment, and reporting.
