Our client within the telecommunications industry is seeking a qualified Zonal Sales Manager to join their team.

Job Purpose

Responsibilities include driving sales and overseeing the distribution of communication products and services—such as airtime, SIM cards, mobile financial services, and devices—targeting resellers and distributors within the designated territory. A key aspect of this role involves identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to optimize sales performance, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness within the assigned region.

Oversee and execute a range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, while maintaining rigorous compliance with established policies and procedures. Consistently meet or exceed the assigned Sales (Revenue) targets for the designated Territory, encompassing both Mobile and Mobile Financial Services (MFS) segments.

Drive customer acquisition initiatives to meet and exceed predefined base targets, employing strategic outreach and engagement tactics to expand the market presence effectively.

Execute strategies tailored to channel-specific objectives in alignment with company goals, encompassing ASOS, SOS, and agencies.

Drive territory profitability by implementing site-specific initiatives and strategic programs tailored to meet predefined financial targets.

Lead the strategic development and execution of the people capability initiative, ensuring alignment across all organizational levels, including TDRs, DSO’s, and Commandos.

To uphold customer expectations related to service standards and product expertise, both within our Stores and at our Partners’ locations.

Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and develop strategic response initiatives accordingly.

Compile and deliver reports in accordance with specified schedules and formats.
