Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer, the Quality Assurance Manager will spearhead quality assurance initiatives, provide oversight for quality control measures throughout the supply chain, and administer audits and compliance protocols. The role will involve managing quality teams while ensuring strict compliance with both local and international food safety and export standards, including Global. A.P., HACCP, BRC, phytosanitary regulations, and any additional customer-specific mandates.

Ensure adherence to quality assurance and food safety standards through systematic oversight of production processes and regulatory compliance. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and testing to verify compliance with food safety regulations and internal quality benchmarks. Identify and address deviations promptly, fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all operational stages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce stringent quality control protocols, ensuring product integrity and consumer trust. Train and mentor staff on food safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance methodologies to reinforce organizational competency.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Microbiology, or a closely related discipline is required.
At least 7 years’ experience in a quality assurance role within the food processing industry.
Proficient in quality control procedures, testing methodologies, regulatory compliance, and food safety standards with a thorough understanding of their application and importance.
Proficiency in quality management systems, laboratory operations, audits, and export compliance is advantageous.
