Job Summary
The individual in this position will oversee the management of service providers, handle all contractual agreements, ensure proper accreditation processes are followed, and conduct comprehensive audits.
Key duties involve managing project timelines to ensure timely completion, coordinating cross-functional teams to align on objectives, and overseeing resource allocation to optimize efficiency. Additionally, you will be responsible for conducting regular performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions where necessary. Collaborating with senior leadership to develop strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of continuous improvement are also essential aspects of this role. Strong analytical skills are required to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies, alongside exceptional communication abilities to convey information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Cultivate positive professional connections with healthcare providers affiliated with the Heritage Insurance network.
Responsible for evaluating and approving new service providers to ensure alignment with client requirements and organizational standards.
Professionally negotiate service fees when finalizing contracts with new service providers, adhering to Heritage Insurance’s established rates and industry-standard practices.
Coordinate provider audits to verify that Heritage Insurance clients receive high-quality services.
Ensure adherence to Heritage-established rules and procedures concerning member access protocols, policy exclusions, and panel rate guidelines.
Collaborate with Underwriting and Actuarial teams to compile and analyze monthly utilization reports, evaluating the performance of service providers, and implement strategic cost-containment measures based on findings.
Accurate recording of all service provider agreements is required, along with adherence to established timelines for contract renewals and KYC (Know Your Customer) updates in compliance with prescribed protocols.
To educate service providers on the procedures for accessing Heritage Insurance services, including updates on modifications to health products, existing processes, and other relevant claim policies.
Negotiate with service providers to secure favorable discounts while ensuring finance reconciliations are completed accurately and on schedule.
Collaborate with internal teams across departments to facilitate the prompt resolution of issues associated with service providers.
Ensure the Heritage Insurance provider panel remains current and promptly distribute updates to all relevant stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, along with a minimum of three years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in industry-standard software and tools is essential, and strong project management skills are highly desirable. Excellent communication and organizational abilities are critical for success in this position. The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment is necessary. Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices is expected. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
