Oversee a range of critical tasks to ensure seamless operations and adherence to organizational standards. Delivers comprehensive assistance for policy coordination and assessment initiatives by examining emerging issues and trends, engaging in evaluations or research projects and studies.

Assists in conducting consulting projects by collaborating closely with the client, facilitating interactive sessions such as workshops, and supporting the development of actionable change management plans for the client’s implementation.

Engages in survey projects by contributing to the development of data collection instruments; distributes these tools, evaluates and examines submitted responses, detects potential challenges or inconsistencies, and formulates initial findings.

Prepares diverse written materials, including draft background papers, analytical notes, sections of reports and studies, and contributions to publications.

Offers administrative and substantive assistance to consultative and other meetings, conferences, and related events by proposing agenda topics, recommending participants, preparing background materials and presentations, and managing logistics.

Conducts outreach initiatives, collaborates on the creation and facilitation of training workshops and seminars, and delivers presentations on designated topics and activities.

Executes field missions by delivering substantive and administrative assistance, conducting data collection, and performing related duties as assigned.

Coordinates budget-related activities, including program and project preparation and submissions, progress reporting, financial statements, and other associated documentation. Additionally, prepares key financial documents such as pledging reports, work programs, and program budgets.

Offers expert strategic guidance and technical planning, alongside architectural and engineering design and implementation recommendations, for infrastructure initiatives in crisis, recovery, and fragile settings within humanitarian-development nexus projects.

Assist in gathering and evaluating data, recognizing trends or patterns, and deliver preliminary insights through visual representations such as graphs, charts, tables, and reports to support data-driven planning, decision-making, presentation, and reporting efforts.

Performs any additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management to support overall operational objectives.

Education

An advanced university degree, specifically a Master’s or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or a closely related discipline, is mandatory.

A combination of a first-level university degree and two years of relevant professional experience may be considered as an equivalent alternative to an advanced university degree.

Completion of degree and nondegree programs in data analytics, business analytics, or data science is highly preferred.

We seek a candidate with a proven track record of relevant work experience in the specified field. Applicants must possess hands-on experience in roles that demonstrate proficiency in key responsibilities, including but not limited to project management, team collaboration, and problem-solving. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of progressive experience, with a strong background in [industry/sector]. Additionally, familiarity with industry-standard tools, methodologies, and best practices is required to ensure seamless integration into the team.

A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in urban development, planning, and design is required, along with demonstrated expertise in supporting the management of programs and projects.
