Qualifications

Kenya is seeking a full-time, on-site professional to fill this position. The ideal candidate must be available to work on-site full-time. The role requires physical presence at the workplace during standard business hours.

A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, or a closely related discipline is required.

Seeking a candidate with at least one year of hands-on experience in reservations and tour operations specifically within a safari tour company.

Demonstrates exceptional proficiency in both verbal and written communication, coupled with a keen ability to analyze challenges and develop effective solutions.

Demonstrates strong competency in Microsoft Office applications and possesses working knowledge of booking systems.

Detail-oriented professional with a strong ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining a steadfast commitment to customer satisfaction at every interaction.

Proficiency in East African destinations constitutes an advantageous qualification.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties encompassing strategic planning, operational management, and cross-functional collaboration to drive organizational objectives. Implement and monitor key performance indicators to ensure alignment with company goals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Identify and mitigate risks while optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity across all departments. Serve as a liaison between senior leadership and operational teams, translating high-level strategies into actionable plans. Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, development, and retention, ensuring a motivated and high-performing workforce. Maintain compliance with industry regulations and internal policies, upholding the highest standards of governance and ethical conduct. Represent the organization in external engagements, including partnerships, stakeholder communications, and industry events to bolster reputation and growth.

Assist in verifying and finalizing flight reservations, hotel accommodations, and activity bookings. Coordinate with airlines, hotels, and other service providers to confirm availability and guarantee seamless service delivery.

Provide support by preparing and distributing hotel vouchers, itineraries, quotations, invoices, and booking confirmations to members of the sales team.

Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized itineraries tailored to each client’s specific requirements.

Handle modifications to reservations, cancellations, special requests, and provide urgent assistance as needed.

Partner with Sales, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure bookings align seamlessly with established company processes.

Maintain current digital and physical records for all reservations and associated documentation.

Monitor service standards meticulously, collect feedback from stakeholders, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of operational processes.
