Reporting to the Senior ICT Officer, the ICT Intern will acquire practical experience in Information Technology within a fast-paced NGO setting. This internship aims to offer exposure to essential ICT functions such as user support, systems administration, network monitoring, data and systems management, and ICT security operations. The intern will collaborate closely with the ICT team to assist with daily tasks, contribute to active projects, and advance the organization’s mission by maintaining seamless, secure, and dependable ICT services.

Academic and professional qualifications required include a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience in the field. Candidates must possess a minimum number of years of professional experience, as well as specific certifications or licenses pertinent to the role. Additionally, familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements is often required.
Currently enrolled in or having recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline.
Proficiency in both Unix and Windows-based applications, along with a foundational understanding of networking principles, is required.
Proven expertise in networking, PC maintenance, Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, desktop operating systems, as well as Cisco routing, switching, and voice technologies is required.
