Overview:
The Associate Manager, Production will spearhead the execution of production plans and programs while maintaining rigorous oversight of quality processes to guarantee optimal that aligns with market demand and fulfills organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Ensure production planning is executed to optimize plant resource utilization and meet production targets effectively.
Annual, monthly, and weekly resource planning for the factory is conducted, utilizing sales forecasts to allocate labor, plant, and equipment efficiently.
Oversee and enhance production workflows to consistently meet all established production objectives.
Developing and executing additional production strategies, plans, and control systems as needed.
Efficiently managing the allocation and utilization of machinery, materials, and personnel to optimize cost-effectiveness.
Ensuring compliance with mandatory Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards within the facility, in accordance with the organization’s SHE policies, ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System) and ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) requirements, as well as applicable local regulations.
The role involves ensuring adherence to prescribed Quality standards within the factory, aligning with the organization’s Quality standards, ISO 9001 – Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, and applicable local legislation.
Driving the performance, guiding the growth, and overseeing the operations of the production team leaders are essential responsibilities of this role.
Revise key performance indicators on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis for submission to the site leadership team during metric reviews.
Serves as a key point of contact between Engineering, Purchasing and Planning, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, HR, and other departments to align efforts and achieve shared objectives.
Achieving discretionary objectives entails executing medium-term subprojects, as mutually agreed upon with the Plant Manager, to advance cost reduction initiatives.
Driving ongoing enhancements in production operations remains a critical focus, ensuring efficiency, quality, and scalability across all processes. By identifying and implementing strategic improvements, the role plays a pivotal part in optimizing workflows, reducing waste, and fostering a culture of innovation within the organization. Continuous assessment of performance metrics and operational benchmarks enables data-driven decision-making to sustain long-term success. Earned a bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
Seeking candidates with at least five years of hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment, with a preference for those who have worked in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector.
