Job Summary
As a Domain Consultant specializing in network security transformation, you will deliver expert technical guidance to support customers throughout their network security and zero trust initiatives. Your role will be pivotal in designing and implementing tailored technical solutions that align with critical business objectives. You will champion our industry-leading capabilities across on-premises, cloud, and security services, reinforcing Palo Alto Networks as the trusted cybersecurity partner for our customers.
Oversee a range of critical duties, including managing daily operations to ensure efficiency, leading and mentoring teams to foster collaboration and productivity, and developing strategic initiatives to drive organizational growth. Implement and monitor policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Analyze performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals and enhance communication across departments. Prepare and present reports to senior leadership, outlining progress, challenges, and recommendations for strategic decision-making. Additionally, oversee budget planning, allocation, and tracking to ensure financial accountability and resource optimization.

Serving as the primary technical resource, you will engage with stakeholders at every level of the customer organization, from frontline practitioners to top-level executives.
Lead and facilitate customer demonstrations to effectively highlight our distinctive value proposition and competitive advantages. Provide guidance and assistance to ensure seamless presentations that resonate with prospective clients.
Oversee technical validation initiatives for prospective customers and partners, employing industry best practices to secure successful technical outcomes in designated opportunities.
Design innovative security solutions to empower customers in enhancing and streamlining their security frameworks.
Document comprehensive high-level design blueprints and critical use cases to guarantee accurate implementation and successful realization of value from Palo Alto Networks solutions.
Facilitate discussions on current industry trends and upcoming developments in the security landscape.
Ensures that product offerings are thoroughly aligned with customer needs while clearly emphasizing unique differentiators and competitive advantages.
As the primary technical liaison for Network Security, you will work collaboratively to address RBIs/RFPs, positioning Palo Alto Networks or partner-delivered services as needed to guarantee accurate implementation and maximize the value of Palo Alto Networks solutions.

Qualifications
Your Experience
Proficiency in pre-sales or sales engineering roles, particularly within domains such as Zero Trust, networking, network security, SaaS security, or SSE/SASE, is required.
Exhibits exceptional proficiency in customer interaction and issue resolution, demonstrating robust communication abilities and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
A proven track record in customer-facing roles, coupled with strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to challenges, is essential.
Proficiency in Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW), network security frameworks, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASE), proxy solutions, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) policies is essential.
Proficient in both On-Premise and Cloud-Delivered Network Security Technologies, with extensive hands-on experience configuring, managing, and troubleshooting solutions across hybrid environments. Demonstrated expertise in deploying and maintaining firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, VPNs, and zero-trust architectures to safeguard network infrastructure against evolving threats.
