Deliver high-quality, practical, and inquiry-driven Computer Studies and Physical Education lessons in strict compliance with the Kenya curriculum standards.

Develop and sustain respectful, productive, and professional relationships with students, their families, and colleagues.

Create and refine lesson plans in collaboration with the Learning Design Team, ensuring timely updates and enhancements as needed.

Designing a classroom atmosphere that fosters academic growth while aligning with students’ developmental stages and interests, ensuring an orderly and purpose-driven learning space.

Ignite students’ enthusiasm and engagement in learning by fostering a vibrant and dynamic educational environment, ensuring they are inspired to strive for academic excellence.

Deliver appropriate accommodations and adjustments to support the holistic development and achievement of every student, encompassing both academic standards and cultural expectations.

Ensure students achieve proficiency in the designated content areas and academic benchmarks, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the curriculum and educational standards.

Incorporate dynamic technological tools into instructional sessions to elevate teaching effectiveness and student engagement.

Establish and convey demanding yet attainable academic targets for every student while delivering constructive feedback to foster their understanding and ownership of these objectives.

Demonstrate expected behavior consistently for students to follow while administering fair rewards and consequences for their actions.

ABOUT YOU

Required skills and qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++ is essential, along with strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills. Candidates should demonstrate experience with agile methodologies and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure and version control systems such as Git is also required.

TSC certification is required, along with a relevant Bachelor’s degree in Education, with a specialization in either Computer Studies or Physical Education.

Requires a minimum of three years of direct teaching experience.

You possess strong communication skills, demonstrating proficiency in both written and verbal communication to convey information clearly and effectively.
