Must have

Earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited academic institution.

Hold license as a Registered Nurse from the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK).

A minimum of three years of training experience within a comparable institution is required.

Certified registration with the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (THETA) as a Technical Trainer is required.

Key responsibilities also involve overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, and coordinating cross-functional teams to achieve organizational objectives. This includes managing stakeholder communications, identifying process improvements, and implementing strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the role requires monitoring performance metrics, analyzing data to inform decision-making, and fostering a collaborative work environment to drive continuous growth.

Develop and deliver the assigned units in strict accordance with the established course curriculum and outlined course framework.

Crafting educational resources, ensuring prompt preparation and submission of professional documentation, and maintaining records to track student progress, accomplishments, and attendance are key responsibilities of this role.

Craft and implement tailored educational programs designed specifically for each student to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

Evaluates student work and tracks their academic progress.

Participate in the course review process and adjust delivery methods to better align with student requirements.

Responsibilities include evaluating and grading Trainees’ Assessment Tests (C.A. Ts) and end-of-term assessments, ensuring accurate and timely submission of marks in the designated Management Information System (MIS) for the assigned units.

Provide practical guidance and support to trainees, ensuring the accurate compilation and maintenance of their portfolios of evidence.

Responsible for overseeing students throughout assessment periods to ensure adherence to established guidelines and integrity of the evaluation process.

Assisting in the design, planning, and execution of a rigorous and high-quality curriculum is a key responsibility of this role.

Attend and actively engage in departmental meetings to contribute insights, provide updates, and collaboratively discuss projects, ensuring alignment with team objectives and organizational goals.
