Must have
Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited educational institution.
Possession of an active registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK) is required.
A minimum of three years of training experience within a comparable institution is required.
THETA’s registration as a Technical Trainer is a mandatory qualification for this role.
Key responsibilities also encompass collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met, including developing and implementing strategic plans, monitoring progress, and addressing any challenges that arise. Additionally, the role involves conducting thorough market research to identify trends and opportunities, as well as analyzing data to inform decision-making processes. The position requires maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention, alongside providing regular updates and reports to senior management. Furthermore, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing budget adherence, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Plan, develop, and deliver assigned instructional units in strict alignment with the prescribed course outline and established curriculum standards.
Development of educational resources, ensuring prompt preparation and submission of professional documentation, and maintaining records to track student progress, achievement, and attendance are key responsibilities.
Develop and implement tailored learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student, ensuring personalized educational strategies.
Evaluates student work and tracks their academic progress to ensure comprehension and identify areas requiring additional support or intervention.
Participate actively in the course review process and modify delivery methods to align with student requirements.
Examining and grading Trainee Assessment Tests (C.A. Ts) and end-of-term assessments, followed by the prompt entry of marks into the designated Management Information System (MIS) for the assigned units, is a key responsibility of this role.
Provide practical guidance to trainees and oversee the development and maintenance of their evidence portfolios.
Overseeing students throughout the duration of examinations ensures compliance with assessment protocols while maintaining a secure and controlled testing environment. This involves monitoring for any signs of academic misconduct, addressing student inquiries respectfully, and providing necessary accommodations as outlined in individual education plans. Effective supervision requires keen attention to detail, adherence to institutional guidelines, and the ability to respond promptly to any irregularities or concerns that may arise.
Participates in the design, planning, and execution of a rigorous and high-caliber curriculum to ensure educational excellence.
Attend and actively engage in departmental meetings to contribute insights, provide updates on ongoing projects, and align with team objectives. Ensure clear communication of relevant information, address any pertinent issues, and collaborate with colleagues to drive decision-making processes.
Additionally, you may be tasked with various other responsibilities as determined by your supervisor to support ongoing operations and team objectives.
