The People and Culture Intern will deliver administrative, operational, and coordination assistance to the People and Culture Department. This position entails supporting employee records management, recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, leave administration, internal communications, training coordination, Foundation activities, staff engagement programs, and general HR functions.
Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of duties and responsibilities, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and operational standards. Lead and coordinate tasks with precision, providing direction and guidance to maintain efficiency and productivity. Address and resolve challenges proactively to uphold workflow integrity and meet established deadlines. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to foster a cohesive work environment and drive collective success.
Responsible for maintaining and updating employee records, personnel files, and HR databases to ensure precise and well-organized documentation.
Deliver comprehensive administrative assistance for recruitment initiatives, encompassing the organization of interviews, ongoing correspondence with candidates, as well as facilitating seamless onboarding and induction procedures.
Oversee the administration of leave, attendance, and employee records systems, maintaining timely updates and ensuring accurate reporting.
Responsible for preparing, disseminating, and updating internal HR communications, notices, and employee correspondence.
Coordinate the development and implementation of employee training initiatives, overseeing all aspects from planning and scheduling to execution, while meticulously managing logistics, attendance records, and comprehensive training documentation.
Assist in the strategic planning and implementation of Foundation initiatives, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs, and community engagement efforts.
Develop, revise, and oversee HR reports, trackers, databases, and other departmental records to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Provide support in organizing employee welfare programs, staff engagement events, hospital visits, bereavement assistance, and employee recognition initiatives.
Organize and coordinate meetings, prepare comprehensive meeting materials, document accurate minutes, and offer general administrative assistance to the Human Resource Department.
Execute a range of clerical and administrative tasks to facilitate the seamless provision of HR services and advance departmental goals.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to undertake any other duties as may be assigned by the manager and/or senior leadership.
Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, engineering, or mathematics. Additionally, candidates must possess at least three years of professional experience in software development, with proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or C++. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment are essential. Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git, and experience with agile development methodologies are highly desirable. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively convey technical concepts to stakeholders.
A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification—including a Diploma or Higher Diploma—in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, Public Relations, or a closely related discipline is required.
Recent graduate or student in their final year pursuing hands-on experience in human resources.
Proficiency in HRM membership or continuous certification would be considered beneficial.
Demonstrates strong expertise in developing and managing web applications, encompassing both front-end and back-end technologies. Possesses in-depth knowledge of frameworks, tools, and best practices essential for building robust, scalable, and user-centric web solutions. Capable of leveraging this proficiency to deliver high-quality digital experiences while adhering to industry standards and evolving technological trends.
