Providing visionary HR leadership and ensuring robust governance frameworks, this role oversees the development and execution of strategic human capital initiatives that align with organizational objectives. It involves establishing and maintaining governance structures to uphold compliance, risk management, and ethical standards across HR policies and practices. Formulate and execute HR strategies, policies, and procedures that are fully consistent with the SACCO’s strategic plan, cooperative principles, and the regulatory mandates prescribed by SARA.

Offer executive-level HR guidance to Leadership and the Board of Directors via comprehensive reports, interactive dashboards, and meticulously prepared Committee and Board documentation.

Drive strategic workforce and succession planning initiatives to cultivate enduring talent pipelines and maintain seamless business operations.

Foster a high-performance, ethically grounded, and member-focused culture that fully aligns with the SACCO’s core values and established code of conduct.

Responsibilities include managing leadership development programs, talent management strategies, and succession pipeline initiatives.

Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership and operational managers on optimal HR practices, employee relations strategies, and organizational change initiatives.

Ensure full adherence to Kenyan labor laws, SARA regulations, internal human resources policies, and the fit-and-proper criteria.

Champion initiatives aimed at driving ongoing enhancements in HR effectiveness, operational efficiency, and staff engagement through structured improvement programs.

Responsible for directing human resources operations and leading personnel management initiatives, you will ensure adherence to HR policies, foster a productive work environment, and support employee development. Your duties include overseeing recruitment processes, managing performance evaluations, and implementing employee engagement strategies to drive organizational success. Additionally, you will handle compliance with labor laws, resolve workplace conflicts, and maintain accurate HR records to uphold company standards and regulatory requirements.

Responsible for managing the recruitment, onboarding, deployment, and exit processes in compliance with the approved staffing structure and budgetary constraints.
