Job Summary

The Doctor Liaison Officer will proactively cultivate strong partnerships with physicians already affiliated with 3rd Park Hospital, ensuring they receive comprehensive support to enhance their professional scope and deliver exceptional patient care. This role involves identifying strategic opportunities to boost physician retention, bridge communication gaps, and effectively convey the hospital’s evolving capabilities and service offerings to medical professionals.

Oversee and execute a comprehensive range of critical duties, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry standards. Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, productivity, and overall performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation, streamline processes, and drive continuous improvement across all business functions. Maintain rigorous adherence to compliance regulations, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures while identifying and mitigating potential risks. Provide leadership in project management, budget oversight, and resource allocation to optimize outcomes and achieve measurable results. Serve as a key liaison between departments, stakeholders, and senior management to facilitate clear communication, alignment, and accountability. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess progress, evaluate results, and implement data-driven adjustments as necessary. Champion a culture of accountability, professional development, and continuous learning to support both individual and organizational growth.

Develop and sustain productive professional relationships with admitting physicians and healthcare providers who refer patients.

Facilitate seamless patient referral procedures and foster effective inter-specialty collaboration to ensure optimal care coordination.

Address communication inefficiencies to enhance physician satisfaction and promote long-term retention within the organization.

Serve as the primary point of contact for physicians’ inquiries and issues.

Provide timely communications regarding the latest advancements in medical technologies, equipment, and services being introduced at the hospital.

Facilitate the collection of input from physicians and promptly escalate any identified issues to senior leadership for resolution.

Collaborate effectively with insurance and finance teams to facilitate seamless pre-authorizations and payments.

Maintain precise documentation of all physician engagements within the CRM system to ensure data integrity and compliance.

At networking events, seminars, and meetings, you will serve as the hospital’s ambassador, representing its interests and fostering professional relationships.

Requirements:

A relevant academic background, such as a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a closely aligned discipline, is required.

With a minimum of four to five years of hands-on experience in healthcare sales, cultivating physician relationships, or serving in a comparable liaison capacity, you are well-prepared to thrive in this role.

Exceptional interpersonal abilities are essential, including proficiency in communication, networking, and cultivating professional relationships.

Requires strong competency in Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management (CRM) platforms.

Proficient in medical terminology and familiar with hospital operational frameworks.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) serve as measurable values to evaluate the effectiveness and success of an organization or specific activities against defined objectives. They provide critical insights into performance trends, operational efficiency, and progress toward strategic goals. By tracking KPIs, stakeholders can identify areas of improvement, optimize resource allocation, and ensure alignment with broader business targets. These indicators typically encompass metrics such as revenue growth, customer satisfaction scores, employee productivity, and cost management, among others, depending on the industry and organizational priorities.
