What You’ll Do

Execute consumer marketing initiatives throughout East Africa, while also assisting with culturally tailored campaigns in other Sub-Saharan African regions.

Collaborate seamlessly with diverse teams—including marketing, music, partnerships, media, analytics, and creative—to develop and implement campaigns from initial strategy to final execution.

Leverage both platform-based and external data to uncover key audience patterns, emerging market trends, and pivotal growth factors, enabling the development of strategic marketing initiatives.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agency partners to craft precise and compelling creative and media briefs.

Spearhead strategic efforts to acquire, engage, and retain both Free and Premium audience segments.

Forging strategic alliances with local entities—including partners, creators, agencies, and cultural hubs—is essential to enhancing brand visibility and driving consumer preference.

Conduct a thorough evaluation of campaign performance metrics, then distill the findings into strategic, data-driven recommendations to enhance future initiatives and optimize market approaches.

Customize worldwide marketing strategies to align with regional preferences and cultural nuances, ensuring relevance and impact across varied consumer segments and market environments.

In collaboration with internal teams and regional partners, facilitate marketing initiatives that highlight local music and cultural events, driving engagement and fostering community connections.

Who You Are

With a minimum of four years of experience in consumer marketing, brand marketing, or campaign management across East Africa, you bring a solid foundation in driving strategic initiatives. Your expertise has been cultivated in dynamic markets, allowing you to navigate challenges and deliver measurable results in brand growth and engagement.

With a background spanning diverse Sub-Saharan African markets or regional campaigns, you bring valuable experience to the role.

As a seasoned professional, you bring a wealth of expertise in brand strategy, consumer insights, digital marketing, media, and/or project management.

You possess a proven track record of executing high-impact campaigns across digital enterprises, FMCG sectors, retail landscapes, entertainment industries, or technology-driven organizations.

You possess the ability to convert consumer and cultural insights into impactful marketing strategies and campaigns.

You possess strong proficiency in leveraging data and performance metrics to assess outcomes and enhance marketing efficiency.

Capable of effectively handling a variety of priorities at once, you demonstrate exceptional focus on detail and consistently deliver high-quality results.

As an adaptable collaborator, you seamlessly engage with diverse teams, agencies, and stakeholders, bridging varying perspectives and priorities to drive cohesive outcomes.

You exhibit a proactive approach with a focus on solutions and thrive in dynamic, fast-paced settings.
